Duraflo announces the release of the new WeatherPRO® PRO Slantback roof vent.
Barrie, Ontario – Dec 15, 2011 - Due to increasing demand for a weatherproof slantback vent, Duraflo has developed and launched the WeatherPRO® Series PRO Slantback roof vent. The vent is available now through your local distributor or retail store.
With the WeatherPRO® Series PRO Slantback, you no longer need to worry about extreme weather. Designed to allow for high volumes of airflow, while providing excellent defence against weather infiltration, the patented WeatherPRO® internal baffles deflect water and snow allowing it to drain harmlessly out the drainage openings. The PRO Slantback also incorporates a patent pending moisture control system which directs and deflects precipitation away from the vent openings.
Manufactured from UV resistant polypropylene, the PRO Slantback has been impact tested to -40°C with no cracking or chipping. Alike the rest of the WeatherPRO Series, the new slantback vent has been tested and approved to category 2 hurricane strength winds of up to 110 mph.
Combining the standard slantback roof vent design, Duraflo WeatherPRO® technology, and the patent pending moisture control system, will ensure the WeatherPRO® Series PRO Slantback roof vent is the first choice when weather infiltration is an issue.
